In a paradise, Semič ;) En un paraiso, Semič ;)

Last Monday 7th of May at the evening, I came to Semič, small and lovely town in the South of Slovenia, I am having a tranning program for a month to open market in Latinamerica for a good company, where people are very friendly, open and flexible, I feel very welcome in the company and my role is getting more and more interesting, I have to admit that it wasn’t like that before I came, but, now I am really motivated to do business between Slovenia and Latinamerica :)

I am staying in a lovely “zidanica”, this means wine cellar, well, it was a wine celler, now, it’s a comfortable and beautiful house in the middle of vineyards and weekend houses with a lot of animals. It’s the Guest’s house of the company. I have an amazing balcony where I have breakfast and lunch everyday because the view is wonderful and it’s so relaxing to see animals, flowers, vineyards and some stones :)... very nice stones, like those from the Alps, but not a lot, just some on the green hill where “my house” is located.

I am enjoying my time here, Franci’s family (Franci is a good friend of mine who is originally from Semič and I am working with) is very hospitable and they have welcomed me, so I haven’t feel alone at all, yesterday for example we were visiting Franci’s sister and her children... it was fantastic!!! these three children are so sweet and they kept talking to me and playing as I understood them, they are so warm, funny and smart... and the cherry on the top was the pleasure to pray with Mimi (lovely Franci’s niece 3 years old child) next to her bed before she fell sleep. God loves me and gives me the pleasure to be surrounded by real angels!

I am very much in contact with my friends from Štajerska ;) (Region where Maribor and Ruše are located ;)) but I miss Marinka’s mom because the only way to be in touch with her is personally.. you know, she talks to me in Slovene and I have to reply in Slovene, German, non-verbal language, drawing and anything that comes to my mind :P so, I hope to see her this Saturday because I want to cook “arepas” for Marinka and Simona in Ruše :)

The weather is amazing, so sunny, every house is full of roses of different colors, but mostly red, near by my house there are even sheeps and the wind is not too cold anymore :) I really enjoy my 7 minutes walk home-work-home everyday!!!!

El lunes pasado, 17 de mayo, en la noche, llegue a Semič, un pequeno y adorable pueblo en el Sur de Eslovenia, estoy en un programa de capacitacion por 1 mes para abrir mercado en Latinoamerica para una buena empresa Eslovena, donde la gente es muy amigable, abierta y flexible, me siento bienvenida en la empresa y mi rol cada vez es mas y mas interesante, tengo que admitir que no era asi antes de venir, pero ahora, estoy realmente motivada a establecer negocios entre Eslovenia y Latinoamerica :)

Me estoy quedando en una adorable “zidanica”, esto signifca cava, bueno, fue una cava, ahora es una casa muy comoda y linda en medio de vinedos y casas campestres con mucho animales. Es la casa de Huespedes de la empresa. Tengo un balcon maravilloso donde desayuno y almuerzo cada dia porque el panorama es maravilloso y es muy relajante ver animales, flores, vinedos y algunas rocas :)... bellas rocas, como las de los Alpes, pero no muchas, solo algunas sobre la verde colina donde esta “mi casa”.
La estoy pasando muy bien aca, la familia de Franci (Franci es un buen amigo que nacio en Semič y con quien ahora trabajo) es muy acogedora y me han dado una bienvenida muy hogarena, asi que no me sentido sola para nada, por ejemplo, ayer fuimos a visitar a la hermana de Franci y sus hijos...fue fantastico!!! Estos ninos son super dulces y todo el tiempo estuvieron hablandome y jugando como si yo les entendiera, son super carinosos, divertidos e inteligentes... y la cerecita sobre la crema fue el placer de orar con Mimi (la adorable sobrinita de Franci que tiene 3 anitos) junto a su cama antes de que se quedara dormida. Dios me ama y me da el placer de estar rodeada de verdaderos angelitos!

Estoy muy en contacto con mis amigos de Štajerska ;) (La region a la que Maribor y Ruše pertenecen ;)) pero extrano a la mama de Marinka porque la unica forma de hablar con ella es personalmente... ustedes saben, ella me habla en esloveno y yo respondo en esloveno, aleman, lenguage no verbal, dibujos y cualquier cosa que se me ocurre :P asi que espero verla este sabado porque ire a preparar “arepas” para Marinka y Simona en Ruše :)

El clima es magnifico, muy soleado, cada casa esta llena de rosas de diferentes colores, pero sobre todo rojas, cerca a mi casa hay hasta ovejas y el viento ya no es demasiado frio, yupiiii :) Disfruto muchisimo mis 7 minutos de caminata diaria casa-trabajo-casa!!!

KRES!!!!

30th of April was a really cool day :) it started in Radenci trying to take some nice photos for my mom (because of her birthday) ...

El 30 de abril fue un dia super chevere :) empezo en Radenci tratando de tomar fotos lindas para mi mami (por su cumpleanos) ...

and I ended up climbing a tree ;) and having fun.
y termine subiendome en un arbol y divirtiendome mucho.

Later on, Tadej and I met with Marinka and Simona in Maribor to have a really nice chat with my mom, my brother and Caro (his girlfriend); so lovely chat and the best was to see my mom really happy!!! God loves her.
Mas tarde, Tadej y yo nos encontramos con Marinka y Simona en Maribor para tener un chat con mi mami, mi hermanito y Caro (su novia); super lindo ese chat y lo mejor de todo fue ver a mi mami realmente feliz!!! Dios la ama.

After the chat, we left for Boštanj, a small town... village… mmm… I am not sure, I just know it is on a hill and we weren’t allowed to go there with the car; it was not because our car had a “baby on board” but "baby behind the wheel" :) anyway, it was pretty safe :P we all survived :)
Despues del chat, nos dirijimos hacia Boštanj, un pequeno pueblo… villa… mmm… no estoy segura, solo se que queda en una colina y que no nos dejaron subir en carro; no fue porque nuestro carro tenia “bebe a bordo” sino "bebe al volante" :) de todas formas, fue bastante seguro :P todos sobrevivimos :)

Spring is everywhere and we 4 love nature, so, we find flowers in our way…
La primavera esta en todas partes y nosotros 4 amamos la naturaleza, entonces, encontramos flores a nuestro paso…

And great views as well!!! God loves us. This Colombian girl is enjoying Sevnica’s view from Boštanj :)

mmm.. but why did we drive almost 2 hours from Maribor to Boštanj? To see the biggest “fire” in the world, in Slovenia is called “Kres”… it was 43 m high, here you can see the construction before it was in fire. In Slovenia (probably in other countries as well, but I don’t know ;)) it’s a tradition to make fire at night 30^th of April, long time ago, people did it to talk and enjoy around the fire to celebrate 1^st of may.
mmm… pero por que viajamos casi 2 horas desde Maribor hasta Boštanj? Para ver la “fogata” mas grande del mundo, en Eslovenia se llama “Kres”... tuvo 43m de altura, aqui pueden ver la construccion antes de ser encendida. En Eslovenia (probablemente en otros paises tambien, pero yo no lo se ;)) es una tradicion hacer fogatas en la noche del 30 de abril, anos atras, la gente lo hacia para conversar y divertirse al rededor del fuego y celebrar el 1º de Mayo.

Hey hey hey, I don’t just love nature… you know, there is nothing more beautiful than dogs… and a sweet, playful and chocolate puppy made my day even better :)
Hey hey hey, yo no solo amo la naturaleza… ustedes saben, no hay nada mas hermoso que los perros… y un dulce, jugueton y chocolate cachorro hizo que mi dia fuera aun mejor :)

And the fire started!!! But small one… we had to wait a lot… so, we played with the fire and camera… what else could we do after dancing polka (all), eating kresburguer (Tadej), buying a t-shir for my brother, playing with the lovely dog…???
Y el fuego empezo!!! Pero uno pequeno… tuvimos que esperar mucho… asi que jugamos con el fuego y la camara… que mas podiamos hacer despues de bailar polka (todos), comer hamburguesa Kres (Tadej), comprar una camiseta para mi hermanito, jugar con el perrito adorable...???

It made us wait, but it as definitely worthy to wait. This is the real fire, it reached 45m height.
Se hizo esperar, pero definitivamente valio la pena la espera. Esta es la “fogata” verdadera, las llamas alcanzaron 45m.
